Jarbas Mattos

Biologist and nature photographer, Jarbas has been leading group and individual customized expeditions to remote regions of Brazil and South America since 2009.

Specialized in birding and wildlife, always searching for rare moments nature has to offer heading distant remote places such as Southern Patagonian Ice Field, extra-Andean Patagonia, Pantanal, Atlantic Forest, Northeast, Amazon Forest, and the extreme south Tierra del Fuego.

Felipe Passos

 Felipe de Oliveira Passos is a biologist graduated from the University of Vale do Paraíba and a birdwatching guide with extensive practical experience, especially in the Atlantic Forest and the Pantanal.

Passionate about birds since childhood, Felipe has worked on consultancy projects for environmental licensing, bird and mammal surveys.

In the Pantanal, he worked in ecotourism and conservation, where he collaborated with several farms on unique ecosystems and later helped manage a protected area in a remote area of the Pantanal.

In Santa Catarina state, he was an assistant in Vinaceous-breasted Parrot reintroduction projects, contributing to the conservation of threatened species.

With solid knowledge in bird identification, Felipe involves clients in immersive and educational tours, always highlighting ecological curiosities and the importance of conservation, providing an authentic and personalized experience.

Marcelo Vasconcelos

Marcelo Ferreira de Vasconcelos is a biologist, bachelor in botany, studied the flowers visited by hummingbirds in the mountains of Minas Gerais during his graduation.

He holds a master's degree and a doctorate in Ecology, Conservation and Management of Wildlife, a specialist in the distribution patterns of birds on mountain tops in eastern Brazil.

He began to guide bird watchers over 20 years ago in several Brazilian states. Currently, it works in the Serra do Caraça region, in Minas Gerais.

He has published more than 200 scientific articles and participated in the description of two new species of birds: the dry-forest saber-wing (Campylopterus calcirupicola) and the tapaculo-serrano (Scytalopus petrophilus).

He is also the author of four bird identification guides, with emphasis on the Serra do Cipó and Caparaó regions.

In addition, he is professor of an online postgraduate program on environmental studies applied to fauna and curator of the ornithological collection of the Museum of Natural Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais.

Kurazo Okada

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Amapá (2003-2007).

Completed a technical course on Training and Improvement of Technicians in Biological Inventory of the Amazon Biodiversity Research Program (PPBIO), specializing in Bird Collection and Curation.

Environmental consultant in the field of Ornithology in the Amazon and birdwatching guide in the State of Amapá.
